These Terms & Conditions (the “Conditions”) govern your access to and use of the Aegis Softex LLC website at aegissoftex.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of any software tools, downloads, or technical support services we make available from time to time (collectively, the “Products”). We provide remote technical support and digital tools only — we do not sell, ship, or deliver physical goods, hardware, or tangible media. They form a binding agreement between you and Aegis Softex LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully and also review our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
1. Application of the Conditions
1.1 Scope. These Conditions apply to all purchases of Products sold through the Site, by us, or through our affiliates, as the case may be, and to your general use of the Site.
1.2 Acceptance. By placing an order on the Site, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to abide by these Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
1.3 Legal capacity. You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
1.4 Changes to the Conditions. We may revise these Conditions from time to time. The Conditions that apply to your purchase are those published on the Site at the time of your order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Conditions.
2. Our Services & Independence
Aegis Softex LLC is an independent third-party technical support provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Dell, Microsoft, Lexmark, Xerox, Samsung, or any other manufacturer unless explicitly stated. All brand names, trademarks, and logos referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.
We do not host, distribute, or repackage manufacturer drivers; where we reference drivers, we direct you to the official manufacturer source. Our Services consist of remote and advisory technical assistance, configuration help, and related software tools, as described on the relevant Product or Service pages.
3. Products, Offers & Acceptance
3.1 Product descriptions. Product and Service descriptions are presented on the Site and can be consulted before you order. Photographs, screenshots, and illustrations are for guidance only and have no contractual value.
3.2 Invitation to treat. Prices, quotations, and descriptions made or referred to on the Site do not constitute an offer by us, but an invitation for you to make an offer. We may withdraw or revise them at any time prior to our express acceptance of your order.
3.3 Choice and compatibility. The choice of Products is made under your sole responsibility. You have complete knowledge of the equipment, software, and configurations you use and are therefore the sole judge of the compatibility of the Products ordered.
3.4 Acceptance of your order. An order you submit constitutes an offer to purchase Products under these Conditions and is subject to our subsequent acceptance. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance (for example, by sending an order confirmation or providing access to the Service).
3.5 Previous disputes. We reserve the right to decline any order from a customer with whom there is an unresolved dispute regarding a previous order.
3.6 Errors. We reserve the right to notify you of, and correct, any error relating to a Product (including pricing or description errors) prior to accepting or fulfilling your order.
3.7 Availability. We make every effort to ensure that the Products appearing on the Site are available. However, we cannot guarantee that every Service or tool is available at all times, and we may modify or discontinue any Product at any time.
3.8 Records. After validation of your order, we may retain order records and other contract records for a reasonable period in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
4. Prices & Payment
4.1 Prices. Prices for our support services and digital tools are stated on the Site or in a quotation we provide and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Because we do not sell or ship physical goods, no shipping, handling, freight, or delivery charges apply. Promotional prices are available individually and cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly permitted.
4.2 Price modification. We may modify prices at any time without prior notice; however, the price applicable to your order is the price displayed or quoted at the time you place it.
4.3 Taxes. Applicable sales taxes or other levies will be calculated based on your location and applicable law and shown before you complete checkout.
4.4 Payment. Unless otherwise agreed, you pay for your order in advance using the payment methods indicated on the Site. You confirm that the payment details you provide are valid and that you are authorized to use them.
4.5 Security. Online payments are processed by our payment providers over industry-standard TLS/SSL encrypted connections. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our servers.
4.6 No physical goods. All Products are provided as remote services or delivered electronically. We do not sell, ship, or invoice for physical products, hardware, or tangible media.
5. Service Delivery & Access
5.1 How Services are provided. We provide remote technical support and digital tools only. We do not sell, ship, or deliver any physical goods, hardware, or tangible media, so no shipping, freight, courier, or delivery-address arrangements apply.
5.2 Scheduling and timescales. Support sessions are delivered remotely or by telephone at a scheduled or mutually agreed time. Any timescales we give are estimates only, and we are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
5.3 Digital tools. Where a Product is a digital tool or download, it is deemed delivered when we make it available to you for download, activation, or access.
5.4 Your environment. You are responsible for the internet connection, device access, and credentials needed to receive remote support or to download and run any digital tool. As nothing physical is shipped, no risk of loss or damage in transit arises.
6. Download & Back-Up
6.1 Download procedure. For digital Products, after payment is confirmed you will receive access instructions or an email containing a link to download or activate the Product.
6.2 Your back-up responsibility. You are responsible for retaining your activation details and for backing up your own data and systems before downloading, installing, or using any Product or receiving any support session.
7. Support Services
7.1 Availability. The scope and availability of technical support vary according to the Product and country, as detailed on the relevant Service or Product pages.
7.2 Scope and access. Where a support session requires access to your device, you authorize our technician to access only the systems necessary to resolve the issue you describe, and only for the duration of the session. You may end the session at any time.
7.3 Your responsibilities. You agree to provide accurate information, to have the legal right to request work on the device, and to back up your data beforehand. Our Services are advisory and technical in nature and do not replace manufacturer warranties.
8. Statutory Cancellation Right
8.1 Where applicable. If you are a consumer and a statutory cancellation (cooling-off) right applies to your purchase under the law of your jurisdiction, you may cancel an eligible order within the period required by that law after purchase. 11. Cancellations & Refunds
11.1 How to request. To cancel an eligible order or request a refund under a statutory right or our Satisfaction Guarantee, contact Customer Service (Section 17) with your order reference.
11.2 Digital tools. Because our tools are delivered electronically, a refund may be unavailable once a download or activation has begun, except where required by law or expressly offered in our Refund Policy.
11.3 No physical returns. As we do not ship physical goods, no product return, return shipping, or restocking is required or charged.
11.4 Processing. Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method where practicable, within the timeframe stated in our Refund Policy or as required by law.
12. Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Please review both documents to understand how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data, and the choices available to you.
